Dedicated to promoting mental health and stability by offering effective anger management counselling for individuals, couples and families.

Anger Management Counselling is a service where clients are offered strategies and techniques to manage excessive anger and make better life choices. We also offer a compressed version of the Anger Management Program, the details for which can be found on the home page under "Anger Workshop". Most of this counselling service is done on a one-on-one basis.  Overall, it can make a person's  life happier because much unhappiness and difficulties in relationships are caused by an inability to manage excessive anger. Anger management means to direct the energy of anger into productive and prosocial activities; it is not the same as anger control; See FAQ section

The Partner Assault Response (PAR) Program is a psycho-educational course and counselling program designed to help participants stop their violent, abusive and controlling behaviours towards their partners. It aims to help clients to take responsibility and ownership for their behaviours.

Everyone wants healthy, satisfying, mutually nurturing relationships. These are the cornerstones of  one's overall happiness. Trustworthiness, honesty, caring, sacrifice, tolerance, understanding and hard work are essential to developing and maintaining happy partner relationships.

Caring Fathers is a specialized program to help fathers in improving their relationship with their children and to develop parenting skills. Each participant attends an individual information session, prior to attending the 8 session program.

When people talk about substance abuse, they generally refer to the use of illegal drugs. Any use of illegal drugs is considered abuse because they are addictive and can cause severe negative health effects. However, the over indulgence of legally acquired alcohol, over-the-counter medications, inhalants, solvents and cigarettes can be used to harmful excess. This program can help you reduce substance abuse, alcohol in particular.

The benefits of anger management coaching are far-reaching. The anger management coach teaches others how to manage their anger constructively rather than destructively. Individuals learn different techniques for dealing with excessive anger and enhancing emotional intelligence.

This program offers techniques to help someone cope with or lessen the physical and emotional effects of everyday life pressure. Stress management involves controlling and reducing the tension that occurs in stressful situations by making emotional and physical changes. The degree of stress and the desire to make the changes will determine how much change takes place.

The Teen Anger Management Program offers support to help your teen work through his or her anger issues by teaching him or her to cope with stressful situations that lead to anger and ultimately violence. Pinpointing and understanding the underlying issue(s) beyond the surface behavior is critical in order to find ways to effectively resolve anger issues. It also teaches teens that anger is understandable, but that it needs to be effectively managed.

Sexual Addiction is best described as a progressive intimacy disorder characterized by compulsive sexual thoughts and acts. Like all addictions, its negative impact on the addict and on the family increases as the disorder progresses. Over time, the addict usually has to intensify the addictive behavior to achieve the same results. This program would help you reduce dependence on sexual addiction. It is more common than one may expect. 

Depression is a state of low mood and aversion to normal everyday activities that can affect a person's thoughts, behaviour, feelings and overall well-being. It impacts your motivation to perform the activities of daily life. Counselling can help you overcome depression.

Anxiety is an over-worried, irrational, state of fear; when the mind instantly goes to the worst possible outcome. Counselling, especially when it employs mindfulness techniques, can help you to greatly reduce feelings of anxiety.

In today's society men are too often vilified and have little or no support when they have been falsely accused or wrongfully treated especially by their partner or spouse. Our new program will teach men how to cope with difficult situations, abusive partners and the law. It will also provide a forum for males to socially network with each other, in order to reduce lonliness and  a sense of alienation from family and friends. 

Mindfulness is a way of being  that is based on ancient eastern philosophy, mainly Buddhism, that entails focusing your awareness and senses to whatever you are doing in the present moment and not dwelling on the past or the future as much as you can. It means living in the moment- not necessarily for the moment- and in a non-judgemental, experiential way. Mindfulness promotes one's overall physical and mental well-being and is a pathway to happiness.

This program is designed to help women identify the various types of abuse, how to deal with these types of relationships, and how to develop coping strategies. It also advocates for the protection of women in cases of extreme abuse.

The Domestic Abuse Anger Program is designed to educate clients about unhealthy relationship dynamics and characteristics, especially in the context of power and control.

Road rage is a major social problem worldwide particularly in developed countries. It refers to out of control anger while driving on the roads and highways. Victims often suffer from verbal, emotional and physical violence. Perpetrators often run in conflict with the law. This remarkable structured program will teach you how to reduce and/or prevent road rage.
