A Guyanese born family counsellor, who had left Guyana more than 30-years-ago to pursue his studies, is currently in Guyana where he will conduct a one-day workshop that is based on anger management and domestic violence.
Latchman Narain, the founder and director of the Anger Management Centre located in the Milliken Medical Centre in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, told this newspaper that, since domestic violence or 'partner assault' (the preferred term) is a prevalent problem in Guyana, the idea to sensitize the public about the matter came to him.
